Lets assume the number are 5x and 6x. And the second ratio as 4x and 5x. So, now if we subtract 8 from 4x we get 5x. That is, 5x-8= 4x. If we solve this equation we get x= 8. So, now substitute x value in 5x and 6x. The numbers are 40 and 48.
