if work is w
t1=1sec
p=w/t
P1=w/1=w
P2=w/2
ratio = P1/P2=w/(w/2)=2/1=2:1
ratio of power of person a and b respectely is
2:1

Given:

Time taken by person A to do a particular amount of work = 1 second

Time taken by person A to do the same amount of work = 2 second

To find: The ratio of power delivered by A and B.

Solution:

Let the amount of work done by A and B individually be W.

Now let us first calculate the power of person A. We know that the formula of power is:

power = work/ time

On substituting the values in the formula, we get:

Power delivered by A = W/ 1

The power delivered by B can also be found out similarly.

Power delivered by B = W/ 2

Their ratio of powers will be = (W/1) / (W/2) = 2:1

Thus, the ratio of power delivered by them will be 2:1.
