Step-by-step explanation:

In square,

Side= 64 cm

Perimeter= 4× side

= (4×64) cm

= 256 cm

Area= (Side)^2

= (64 cm) ^2

= 4096 cm^2

The Perimeter of square is equal to that of rectangle.

In rectangle,

Length= 80 cm

Perimeter= 256 cm

Breadth= Perimeter/2 - length

= (256/2-80) cm

= (256-160/2) cm

= 96/2 cm

= 48 cm

Area= L× B

= (80×48) cm^2

= 3840 cm^2

Therefore area of the square plot has more area than that of rectangular plot.

And by= (4096-3840) cm^2

= 256 cm^2

I hope this will help you.
