heya!! here's ur answer>>>>>>>>>

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle

perimeter of square= side×4

=40×4

=160m

therefore perimeter of rectangle=160m

2(l+b)=160m

2(l+25)=160m

2l+50=160m

2l=160-50

2l=110

l=110/2

l=55m

area of rectangle=l×b

=55×25

=1375m^2

area of square=side×side

=40×40

=1600m^2

square has larger area by=1600-1375

=225m^2

hence, final answer is 225m^2.

hope this helps....

Length of the square = 40m.
Breadth of the rectangle = 25m
Perimeter of the square = 4*Side = 4* 40 = 160 m
Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+25).
Now, According to question,

2*(l+25) = 160
2l + 50 = 160
2l = 160-50
2l = 110
l = 55 m

Area of the rectangle = 55 × 25 = 1375 sq m.
Area of the square = side × side = 40×40 = 1600 sq.m.
Square has more area by 225 sq.m
