Bertrand Russell, a great British philosopher, scholar, mathematician and historian has classified the problems of mankind into two :
1. The problems inflicted by the non-human environment or nature. An example may be earthquake.
2. The problems inflicted by humans or other people. An example may be war.
According to Russel humans are the principle cause of problem of mankind and contributes in the first problem as well. It is the human who interferes in nature and destroyed it and thus become the principal cause of natural calamities.
