Answer:

60 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two trains meet at a point C after 'x' hours.

∴ Distance = Speed * Time

(i)

Speed = 20 km/hr and Time = x.

Distance traveled by train starting from station A during x hours:

= 20x km.

(ii)

Speed = 10 km/hr and time = x hours.

Distance traveled by train starting from station B during x hours:

= 10x km

Given:

Total distance between trains = 90 km.

⇒ 20x + 10x = 90

⇒ 30x = 90

⇒ x = 3

Required distance AC = 20x

= 20 * 3

= 60 km.

Therefore, trains meet at 60 km from A.

Hope it helps!
