Two unequal masses A and B moving along a straight line are brought to rest by equal retarding forces. If A moves twice the time as B but goes only 1/3 of the distance covred by B before coming to rest, what is the ratio of their velocities?

A:
S1=S2/3
t1=2t2
B:
S=S2
t=t2
velocityA/velocityB=(S1/t1)/(S2/t2)
= (S2/3*2t2)/(t2/S2)
= 1:6
