On combining equation $(i)and(ii),$

$x-3y=-4;\\x-2y=14;$

We get-

$y=18;$

Substituting $y=18$ in any of the 2 eqyations

$x-2y=14;\\x-2(18)=14;\\x-36=14;\\x=36+14;\\x=50;$

∴$x=50;$

∴THE PRESENT AGE OF
