Italian unification, or the Risorgimento, was the political and social movement that consolidated different states of the Italian peninsula into the single state of the Kingdom of Italy in the 19th century.

Hey mate , here is ur answer...❤❤✌✌

YOU CAN CHECK THE ANSWER TOO . ITS NOT COPIED. ITS MY OWN ANSWER....

Italy was a scattered empire , consisting 7 states.
Out of 7 , only one was governed by the European govt.

THERE WERE 3 PEOPLE WHO PLAYED A VERY VERY IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE UNIFICATION OF ITALY.

1. GIUSEPPE MAZZINI :- ( i ) head of the republican party.
( ii ) founder of young italy.
( iii ) unification through education.

2. GIUSEPPE GARIBALDI :- ( i ) known as Hero of RED SHIRTS.
( ii ) Won support of italian peasants.
( iii ) drove out Spanish rulers.

3. CAVOUR :- ( i ) neither a revolutionary nor a democrat YET KNOWN AS the REAL MAKER OF ITALY.
( ii ) Won wars against France and Austria through the diplomatic ways.

BECAUSE OF THE HARDWORKS OF THESE 3 PEOPLES ITALY WAS UNIFIED.

HOPE IT HELPS U.❤✌
