Untouchability a curse for the lower caste in india. Explain the statement with suitable example.

India is a democratic country where people should be treated equally on the basis of caste Creed gender religion etc. but still the some orthodox sections of the society believe in caste discrimination .. they believed that brahmins are at the top in caste based discrimination the lowest of these are the shudras ..the shudras are usually discriminated and are referred as untouchables . untouchability is a curse to lower caste because the untouchables are denied entry in public places temples and other religious temples some section of the society who had some old religious belief thought that the shudras should be discriminated and should be called a untouchable bus still Gandhiji called the untouchable as Harijan the children of God
