Here, 255 is wrong but in the textbook 225 is given.

Now, 225 > 135.

So, 225 = 135 × 1 + 90

135 = 90 × 1 + 45

90 = 45 × 2 + 0

Since,the remainder has now become zero.

So, the H.C.F. of 135 and 225 is 45.
