R.H. Whittaker introduced the famous five- kingdom classification system which is the most followed classification system in modern time. It includes the following five kingdoms:-

Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae, Animalia

We can group the above mentioned organisms into 5-kingdoms as:-

1. Kingdom Monera- Archaea and bacteria, all prokaryotic microbes

2. Kingdom Protista- Eukaryotic microbes and protozoa

3. Kingdom Fungi- Fungi

4. Kingdom Plantae -

Algae, Bryophyta, Pteridophyta, Gymnosperms, Angiosperms

5. Kingdom Animalia

Hope this helps!

2.Kingdom Protista which included eukaryotic organisms like Protozoans and eukaryotic microbes.

3.Kingdom Fungi includes eukaryotes like Fungi.
