Answer:f is directly proportional to the rate of change in momentum .

f is directly proportional to mv -mu/t

f=k ×mv -mu/t (k is constant which replaces the proportional sign)

f=1×mv -mu/t (k =1)

f=mv-mu/t

f=m(v-u/t)

f=m×a (v-u/t=a)

hence proved.

Answer:

Newton's second law of motion describes the relationship between force and acceleration. They are directly proportional. If you increasethe force applied to an object, the acceleration of that object increasesby the same factor.
