V/I = R
This statement is according to ohm's law
V = I R
V is potential difference
I is current
R is resistance

Hi there,
As it comes from Ohm's Law
V = IR
The V is the battery voltage, so if R can be determined then the current can be calculated.
Hence,
V/I = R.
According to ohm's Law the electrical current (I) flowing in an circuit is proportional to the voltage (V) and inversely proportional to the resistance (R). Therefore, if the voltage is increased, the current will increase provided the resistance of the circuit does not change..
Hope it has help !
