At the end of your garden experiment, you finding supported the hypothesis that plants grew largest with the maximum amount of fertilizer, water, and light. The next summer you repeat the experiment to find that plants grew largest only if they had the least amount of fertilizer but still had the most water and light. What is the next step for your hypothesis? A. Run the experiment again to show that the finding that didn't support your hypothesis was wrong.
B. Use statistical wizardry to make it appear that all your findings support your hypothesis and that anyone who suggests otherwise just doesn't understand statistics.
C. Publish your results in Nature and Science journals, being sure to omit the findings that contradict your hypothesis.
D. Modify it to say that plants only grow best with the most water and light but may vary with the amount fertilizer and then test it again.
