1) (a+b)+c

(-2+ -2/3) + -3/4

=(-2/1 - 2/3) - 3/4

BODMAS

B for Brackets first

Finding the LCM,

= (-6/3 -2/3) - 3/4

= (-8/3) - 3/4

=-8/3 - 3/4

LCM again,

= -32/12 -9/12

=-41/12

2) a+(b+c)

-2+ (-2/3 + -3/4)

= -2/1 + (-2/3 - 3/4)

BODMAS

B for Brackets first

Finding the LCM,

= -2/1 + (-8/12 - 9/12)

= -2/1 + ( -17/12)

= -2/1 -17/12

LCM again,

= -24/12 - 17/12

=41/12
