Given equation

x^{2} -6x+8=0

Solving, we get,

x^{2} -6x+8=0\\\implies x^{2} -4x-2x+8=0\\\implies x(x-4)-2(x-4)=0\\\implies (x-2)(x-4)=0

=> 1 is not the zero of the polynomial

2 and 4 are the zeroes of the polynomial

 \mathtt{\huge{ \fbox{Solution :)}}}

Given ,

The polynomial is (x)² - 6x + 8

By prime factoraisation method ,

(x)² - 6x + 8 = 0

(x)² - 4x - 2x + 8 = 0

x(x - 4) - 2(x - 4) = 0

(x - 2) (x - 4) = 0

x = 2 or x = 4

Hence , 1 is not the zeroes of polynomial
