2. Following are the main reasons for the colonization:
a) colonies were considered essential as a  supplier of the natural resources and other essential goods.
b) economic exploitation of the vietnam.
c) the colonization was also driven by the civilizing mission.

4. the Saigon Native Girls School started a major protest against the french medium school. this protest was started in 1926 when a Vietnamese girl was asked to empty a seat in front for a french girl.
