Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

P X R X T/100 = Simple interest

∴ 430 X 12 X 219/100 X 360

= 73 X 43

= 3139

= 31.39 (As time is taken as days)

Money to be paid back = 430 + 31.39

                                       = 461.39

Answer = 461.39

Given :

vibha borrowed ₹430 at 12% per annum for her friend for 219 Days.

To Find :

calculate the interest and amount paid by Vibha to her friend

Solution:

Principal = 430

Rate of interest = 12%

365 days = 1 year

1 day = \frac{1}{365} years

219 days = \frac{219}{365} years =0.6 years

Formula:

SI = \frac{P \times T \times R}{100}\\SI = \frac{430 \times 0.6 \times 12}{100}

SI=30.96

Amount = Principal+Interest =430+30.96 =460.96

Hence  the interest and amount paid by Vibha to her friend are Rs.30.96 and Rs.460.96 respectively.
