sum of the ratio = 5 + 3 = 8 equal parts

8 parts = 104

1 part = 104 / 8 = 13

vinod get = 5 parts

= 5 × 13

= 65

Ravi get = 3 parts

= 3 × 13

= 39 books

So Vinod=5x
Ravi =3x

Therefore
5x+3x=10
8x=104
x=13
Ravi = 3*13=39
Vinod = 5*13 =65
