USES OF MICROORGANISMS CULTURALLY

Microorganisms in a milk chilling center  are used to convert lactose to lactic acid making the milk go sour, the milk is then packed and sold out. Microorganisms culturally were used in the process of making milk sour, this cultural application of microorganisms is the mechanism that was borrowed by modern milk industries to turn milk sour.
