CONJUGATION:
It is the temporary fusion or transfer of material from one bacteria or an algae to another ,it usually occurs during unfavourable conditions when there is lack of food or what ever the required conditions are
2.)Here the circular DNA or the genetic material present in one organism gets transferred to another organism through a pilus
3.) The genetic material may be a plasmid
all in all it occurs temporarily for the survival of the organism it occurs through direct contact .
4.) A single strand is transmitted to the acceptor from the donor later on the genetic material is replicated and both the organisms would be having equal amount of genetic material
