The clouds condense and the water vapour changes to water and ice (solid) and fall down on the surface of the earth as rain and snowfall respectively. The water on the surface again evaporated due to sun's heat and the water cycle continues. Thus, water cycle is a series of reversible changes.

Answer:

The water cycle is a series a of reversible changes. The sea water under the action of heat get vaporised which in turn changes into clouds. These clouds provide rain. The rain water then flows to the streams and rivers which eventually falls back to the oceans and seas.
