They produce digestive inzymes on the foriegn bodies which helps to clean the cell

The enzymes released by the lysosomees are very powerful and help in the process of digestion of foreign particles. In the case the cell gets damaged, lysosome burst and ralease the enzymes,which digest their own cell.

Hence, they are called suicide bags of the cell.
