The rate of evaporation inreases with increase in surface area.
The surface area of saucer compared to a cup is more.
That's why we are able to sip hot tea faster from a saucer.

According to properties of evaporation when we put tea in saucer the surface area increases and rate of evaporation also increases that's why it is easy to sip hot tea from saucer

hey mate!!
we are able to SIP hot tea faster from a saucer rather than a cup because the tea when poured it get spered and cools down and hence we are able to sip it faster
