1. The political condition of India became worse after the death of Aurangzeb.. Everyone became poor.. bcoz the number of mansabdars was more from that of jagir . and also the attack of Nadir shah weakened the empire .

2. The Battle of Plassey was a decisive victory of the British East India Company over the Nawab of Bengal and his French allies on 23 June 1757. The battle consolidated the Company's presence in Bengal, which later expanded to cover much of India over the next hundred years.

3. Following are the merits and demerits of subsidiary alliance Merits:- 1. It added to the strength and resources of British without requiring them to undertake the risk and expenses of the war 2.
