Answer: Freedom

Explanation:

Dr Abdul Kalam always stressed on the importance of freedom. He used to remind all Indians about how the country was plundered, conquered by the invaders of other countries. Athough India never indulged in such acts as they believed in respecting the freedom of other countries.

He firmly believed that freedom once attained should be protected, nurtured and built on. To further elaborate his view on freedom he reminded the great Indian Rebellion of 1857, which was carried out by the sepoys of the East India Company`s army garrison in Meerut.

He considered the rebellion as the first stepping stone towards India`s independence. Soon after this mutiny India witnessed a large number of civilian uprising and mutinies.

Hope this helps.
