ANSWER:

Ruthlessness and cruelty actually kill trees.

EXPLANATION:

In accordance to the poet it takes lots of time to destroy and kill a tree. It cannot be done only by a knife’s stab as the tree grows up to be very sturdy, gradually drawing nourishment from the air, the water, the sun and the earth. Although the tree’s bark looks discoloured and dull, fresh and new leaves keep re-emerging from it. As such a tree cannot be ruined with a couple of blows and cuts and blows.

The real process which can destroy a tree includes ruthlessness and cruelty. The tree’s root needs to be ripped out from the earth that is holding it firmly. The tree has to be pulled out by forceful snapping and pulling. This root is actually the real strength of the tree.

Trees are sensitive to light and heat as they stay concealed under the earth’s surface for several years. Therefore, the tree must be left exposed till it completely dries up and stops extracting nutrients from nature and the soil. When trees are left exposed to air and sun, the root slowly dries, hardens and withers away. Thus, the tree’s life drains out it is finally destroyed and killed.
