Artist has portrayed nobleman as the spider and the peasant as the fly. The reason behind it is, the poor fly can never get rid of a crucked spider, same way, the poor peasants are of third estate all types of taxes are paid by them while the nobleman who is in second estate just sits and takes everything from peasants.
