After fertilization the zygote divides in the ovule
the sepal and petal of the flower drys and falls off
the ovary enlarges and becomes the fruit \the ovule develops hard cover
and becomes the seed/seed cover

After fertilization, the zygote divides several times to form an embryo, enclosed in a protective covering called the seed covering or seed coat. As the seed goes further, other floral parts withers and fall off. This leds to growth of ovary, which enlarges and ripen to become a fruit with a thick wall called pericarp.
