What are alpha and beta components of a transistor?

Hi friend,

Alpha of a transistor is the ratio between the current flows through the collector to the current flows through the base.

Alpha= Ic/Ib

Beta is defined as the ratio between the collector current to the emitter current

Beta= Ic/Ie

WhereI E=I C+IB
