Autotroph

Those organisms that have the tendency to synthesise their food by themselves are known as autotrophs as the name suggest auto refers to self.

Actually no !!

CHEMOSYNTHETIC AUTOTROPHS

The autotrophs that basically used ine organic substances in order to synthesise their foods are known as chemosynthetic autotrophs.

They first convert that inorganic substance into organic one.

This category basically includes the bacteria.

  • Sulphur
  • Nitrogen

Are basically the most common inorganic elements that are used by those bacteria for synthesis of their food.

This organisms obtain their energy by breaking down this into simple molecules.
