Answer:

The production of ATP in the chloroplast is called photophosphorylation because the energy harnessed in the process originally came from light. This process of ATP production is called non-cyclic photophosphorylation.

Answer:

The cyclic photophosphorylation is so named because Electron in the ist step liberated from photosystem 1 and finally get return backs to the same.

Explanation:

cyclic photophosphorylation is an important process of light reaction of photosynthesis as it carry out  formation of ATP from ADP and inorganic phosphate by the cyclic movement of electrons.

During cyclic photophosphorylation electron is at ist liberated from photosystem 1 and acquired by Ist electron carrier ferridoxin, from ferridoxin to plastoquinone, from plastoquinone to plastocyanine, from plastocyanine to cytochrome b6f comples and from cytochrome b6f to photosystem 1.The transport of electron through various electron carrier generates energy which is utilized by ADP to form ATP .
