Answers
Definition:-
As we know that the Covalent bond is defined as “ The attractive force which arises when electrons are mutually shared by the atom ”. A Compound containing Molecules with a covalent bond is a Covalent bond.
Covalent bonds are of three types:-
- Single Covalent bond
As we know that the Sharing of one electron of a two-atom-formed bond is called a Single Covalent bond.
- Double Covalent bond
As we know that the Sharing of two-electron of two-atom formed bond is called a Double Covalent bond.
- Triple Covalent bond
As we know that the Sharing of three electrons of a two-atom-formed bond is called a Triple Covalent bond.
