What are covalent compound difference between covelent and ionic compounds

hey..

The bond between atoms by transfer of electrons is called ionic bond and the compounds formed are called ionic compounds

e.g:- common salt (NaCl)

The bond between the atoms by sharing of electrons is called covalent bond and the compounds are called covalent compounds

e.g:- water (H2O)
