the Deccan plateau is a part of penninsular plateau it is found south of narmada river it is rich is minerals deposit and has Western that's on West side and Eastern​ ghats on Eastern side .the Deccan trap is also find here

Deccan pleatue is tri angular in shape .it is formed from drifted part of the gondwana land.. vindya and satpura ranges makes it north border.. and remaining sides is covered by water..
