The first disadvantage is that, if one component in a series circuit fails, then all the components in the circuit fail because the circuit has been broken. The second disadvantage is that the more components there are in a series circuit, the greater the circuit's resistance*.

  • in this if one electrical appliances stops working due to some defect than the other appliances also stop working
  • in this appliances we don't do not get the same voltage as that of supply line
  • In this connection the overall resistance of the circuit increases too much due to which the current from the power supply is low.
