Basic definition :- The word "Eu" is Greek word and means advanced, "karyon" means nucleus.
Cells which have a well defined nucleus are called as eukaryotic cells. Their nucleus is bounded by nuclear membrane.

Features :-

They have membrane bound cell organelles present in their cytoplasm.

Most of the eukaryotic cells form multicellular organisms.

Eukaryotic cells are advanced from prokaryotic cells (cells which doesn't have well defined nuclear membrane).

The ribosomes found in eukaryotic cell's cytoplsm is of 80-S type.

Eukaryotic cells divides slower as compared to prokaryotic cells.

Example :- Animal cell, plant cell, algae, paramecium etc.
