First of all, a physical quantity is the quantity which is measurable and has a unit... There are two main types of physical quantity..
1)Fundamental physical quantity
2)Derived physical quantity
Fundamental quantities are the quantities which do not depend upon other physical quantity for their measurement for example :
Length, mass, time, temperature,etc.
Length - metre is SI unit while centimeter is CGS
Mass -kg(si)..g (cgs)
Time -s(same in both systems)
