Gymnosperms:

A group of seed-producing plants are called gymnosperms. Gymnosperm plants produce cones and seeds.

For example, Cycad cones and Coniferous plants are gymnosperms.

• Gymnosperms don't have an outer layer around their seeds. That's why these seeds are called naked seeds.

• Gymnosperms do not produce flowers or fruits.

• Gymnosperms belongs to the subkingdom Embryophyta.
