microbodies are the membrane bound minute vesicles which are similar to inclusion bodies in prokaryotes. this contain various enzymes and are present both in animal as well as plant cell.

Ex → peroxisomes --> they contain enzyme catalase which is responsible in the conversion of hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen.

Inclusions bodies are also know as reserved body or granules

all substances which are not used in cell therefore it is stored in reserved form so that they can be used in future according to cell requirements

we can classify these on the basis of non membraneous unit is present or not

Membrane is present

1 phosphate granules

2 cyqnopycean granules

3 glycogen granules

membranes is absent

1 Sulphate granules

2 polybetahydroxybutrate (PHB) granules

3 gas vacuoles
