what are stationary orbits?

stationary orbit is a orbit which surrounds a planet and where a natural stelite revolves, but from the planet surface it doesnt seem to be rotating .

stationary orbit refers to an orbit around a planet or a moon where the orbit satellite remains orbiting over the same spot on the surface
