What are the advantages & disadvantages of plastic?

# Plastics have both advantages and disadvantages, hence they are both, a blessing and a curse.

<> Advantages of plastics

* Inexpensive
* Light and do not corrode or rust.
* Easy to make on a large scale.
* Easy to mould into any desired shape.
* Do not conduct heat and electricity.
* Can be made colourful, and in some cases, can be recycled.

<> Disadvantages of plastics

* Non- biodegradable
*Inflammable
* Pollute the environment.
* Give off harmful fumes when burnt.
* Harmful to animals ( Some animals eat soft plastic things which block their intestine).
