Bhastrika is the process of breathing exercises leading to yoga benefits by cleansing the energy in the body.

Explanation:

The Bhastrika gives augmented inhalation and exhalation processes leading to better movement in the diaphragm. The breath is suspended as long as it can. The deepest the breath,  longer the oxygen suspension and then deep exhalation process is initiated causing the harmful gas to come out.  The one long end completes one bhastrika.
