What are the benefits of having more RAM?

Suppose you have half-terabyte on your hard drive, but only 4 gigs of ram, obviously there’s not enough ram to populate your entire hard drive, you’ll only be able to have about 4 gigs residing in actual ram.

Advantages of RAM

1: - This increases the speed of the computer system, the higher the speed of the system the more RAM will be.

2: - The CPU can read data faster than RAM. (Compared to hard disk, CD, DVD, FLOPPY, DISK and USB)

3: - There is very little use of power in which battery life increases.

4: - There are no moving parts in it, i.e. none of its parts move.

5: - It can write and erase operations.
