We sleep because our mind gets tired. Due to a lot of work of the whole day, our body is not able to produce enough of energy making the mind less active. When we sleep our movements or we can say that our energy consuming activities become less. So our mind gets enough of energy and we wake up fresh in the morning.

So the first and the foremost benefit of sleeping is to freshen up the mind.

Sleeping also reduces stress, keeps our heart healthy and regulates our body fat.
