There are several factors which influences the high population density in India and these are as follows

✔1.Geo-morphological Factors- such as Terrain, Soil,Resources and minerals. India is having good resources as well as plain land known as ‘terrain’ which is very much influential for the settlement of population.
Along with this soil for the cultivation of agriculture to meet the demand of food.
Great plains of india is rich in all these factors hence GPI is having more population density.

✔2. Climatic conditions- Indian climate is ‘Mansoon’ type of climate and which is very much acceptable and adoptable for human beings. Avg annual temperature is 30 degree with adequate amount of rainfall.

✔3.Birth Rate VS death rate- India is having high birth rate with very low death rate.which is good sign for developing country however, it is causing problem for population growth which leads to contribute in poverty and hunger.
