A convex lens is a converging lens. When parallel rays of light pass through aconvex lens, the refracted rays converge at the focal point.



Concave lenses are thinner at the middle. Rays of light that pass through the lens are spread out (they diverge).

Convex lense= A lens which is thicker
in the middle and thinner at the edges is called convex lens . convex lens is also called converging lens .
Concave lense= a lens which is thinner in the middle and thicker as the ages is concave lens . concave lens is also called diverging lens .
