economic activity:--on those activities that contribute to the flow of goods and services in the country is called as economic activity.

Non economic activity:--all those activities which do not contribute to the flow of goods and services is called as the non economic activity.

the major difference between the economic and non economic activities that the economic activity includes the national income and non economic activity doesn't includes the national income.

increase in economic activities shows the indication of economic progress of the country and where as increase in non economic activity didn't show any type of indication in the growth of economic progress of country.

example :--farmer doing farming is the economic activity where as the teacher teaching to his son or daughter is the non economic activity.

Economic Activities :-

  • These activities give an income in return.
  • These are done to earn a livelihood.
  • For Example :- People going for work in factories ,farm , banks, hospitals,schools,etc.

Non Economic Activites :-

  • These activities do not give any income in return.
  • These are done out of compassion ,love and care.
  • For Example:- Doing social work, helping the poor, going to temple etc.
