• in upper courses of river :
1) the soil is coarser .
2)the soil particles are larger.
3) the soil fertility will be less and they are heavier.
4) variety of plants can be grown.
• In lower courses of river :
1) The soil contains clay, sand and slit.
2) The are very fertile in nature.
3)the larger particles get refined into finer particles due to the travel along the river.
4) less type of vegetation can be grown.
